When we talk about Industrial Painting, we are generally talking about protective coatings, rather than making things look pretty.
Take the Food industry for example, the last thing anyone wants is flaking paint or rust leeching into the food that we all eat!
We offer on demand maintenance painting in Manufacturing plants, Cold Stores, Abattoirs and the like. A good example of this is the work we do for JBS Swift Australia at their Brooklyn Plant. Whenever they have a lull in production, they tend to call us in to keep the rust at bay. We recently treated the rust in their Chillers with Cold Gal primer and Dulux Durebild STE top coats. The work involved all of the overhead steel structure and posts and the Sandwich panel walls.
Bridges are another asset that fall into the Industrial protective coatings sector. Prime Painting Group are well versed in coating bridges, having recently finished 2 over road walkways at The District Docklands. The bridges lead from the car park to the shopping centre. We applied Cold gal primer to rust spots then Dulux Durebild STE as base coat and then finished with Dulux Weathermax HBE in “Domino”.
Another bridge that we completed is an over river bridge at Warrandyte. This was a bit more challenging as we had to encapsulate our work zone, so that none of the flaking original coating found it’s way into the Yarra River.
